The Work

My career started in the art departments of Time Inc., Sony BMG, and MTV in New York — places where design had to be excellent because the audience expected nothing less.

 

For over a decade since, I've been the sole creative director of a 100-page national monthly magazine, building every issue from concept to print: layout, photo research, retouching, illustration, advertising, production. That kind of end-to-end ownership changes how you think about design.

 

Now finishing a Master's in Journalism at Harvard Extension School, I've added long-form reporting, photojournalism, and audio storytelling to the mix. The result is a rare combination: I can art-direct a story and write it. I can build a visual identity and develop the content strategy behind it.

 

Trilingual in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Graphis New Talent Gold Award winner. Available for remote editorial, design, and content roles.
